June - 2013
Bill and I both grew up in a small town south of Boston. We were married in 1982, and remained there until 2002 when Bill was offered a job here in New Hampshire. I was very reluctant to leave family and friends, however Bill had always supported me in all my endeavors, and this was something that he really wanted to do. Moving to New Hampshire has turned out to be such a blessing for our family. We have met so many wonderful faith filled families and friends at Ste. Marie. Our son was also fortunate enough to attend, what we consider, one of the best catholic schools in this area (Holy Family Academy).
Some of our favorite activities are hiking, biking, and kayaking. Since we moved here we have also taken up cross country skiing. There is so much to do in this beautiful state.
I think our favorite family tradition is our "huge" Thanksgiving celebration we host every year. Members from both of our families (we both have six siblings) come together for the day to celebrate.
We were fortunate enough to have perpetual adoration at our "home" parish, and so happy when we realized Ste. Marie also had a chapel. We have been attending weekly adoration for over 12 years now and it has been such a blessing. We also pray the rosary daily, and attend daily mass whenever possible.
Trying to convince family members who have left the church, to come back. Many times all we can do is pray, and be available if they have questions.
